Why this room is different
Four ways in
Why 10 December? It is Human Rights Day. In 1948, Article 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights named the right to work, to free choice of employment and to just and favourable conditions of work. With agents in the room, we decide what those words mean now.
10 December. Free. Save your seat.
Re.Imagine.Work is an independent event organised by Summit.RE, the managed-summit service of TheWorkCompany, as a joint initiative of TheWorkTimes and No Worker Left Behind. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the United Nations.
Yes. Registering and watching live are free, with no seat limit. We plan to publish the recordings and the practical resources from each track for free after the event.
Most people take the Free Seat. Hiring managers and recruiters take the Employer and Recruiter Seat. Students and career changers have their own free seat. Want a booth? Startup Expo Booth, Career Expo Booth, or the free Mission Booth for student, nonprofit, public-sector, research and non-US teams.
8am to 5pm in New York (ET), which is 13:00 to 22:00 UTC. That is 18:30 in India and 21:00 in Singapore. In Sydney the day starts at midnight on 11 December.
No. Come for one block or stay all day. Mornings cover the work itself (Re.Build, Re.Run, Re.Lead, Re.Govern). Afternoons cover jobs, skills and pay (Re.Skill, Re.Hire, Re.Direct, Re.Earn).
That is the plan: recordings and resources published free after the event. Release dates are published with the confirmed programme. An APAC rebroadcast is being arranged and will always be labelled as a rebroadcast.
People with firsthand experience: builders, operators, managers, researchers, frontline workers and organisers. Every application is scored on the same public rubric. Applications close 28 October, and every applicant hears back with written feedback within 21 days.
No. Editorial sessions are selected on the public rubric. Sponsor labs and demos are labelled as sponsored and kept separate from editorial sessions.
The Mission Booth is free for student, nonprofit, public-sector, research and non-US teams. Startup Expo booths are $500 and Career Expo booths $1,500 at the founding price until 13 November. Sponsor tiers run from $2K to $35K.
None by default. Visiting a booth shares nothing. A sponsor or exhibitor only receives your details if you make a separate request naming them. Your email is never sold or rented.
