You registered for something. We help you actually get there.
If an email from ewent turned up and you weren't expecting it, this page explains exactly what happened — in plain words, with no marketing in the way.
Why you got mail
Three honest answers.
Who sent it
The organizer of the event you registered for. Their name is at the top of every message. ewent is the tool they used, the same way they might use Mailchimp.
Where we got your address
From your registration on the organizer's ticketing platform. Nowhere else. We do not buy, scrape, or enrich contact data.
How to stop it
One click, from any message or from your checklist page. It stops immediately and we don't ask you why.
What you actually get
A checklist, not a newsletter.
Your link opens a page that belongs to you and that event. No password — the link itself is signed.
The time, in your time
Start time and countdown rendered in your timezone, so a webinar listed at "14:00" doesn't quietly mean 02:00 where you are.
What to do before you go
Book the thing, read the thing, bring the thing. Tick them off as you go. It reorders so the undone items come first.
Add it to your calendar
A real calendar file, so the event is in your diary rather than in an inbox you'll never scroll back to.
Can't make it?
Say so in one click. Nobody chases you, and your seat goes to someone on the waitlist.
Your data, specifically
What do you actually store about me?
Your email address, your name if the organizer collected it, your timezone, which steps you have ticked, and whether you opened or clicked a message. That is the list. The full detail is on the who sees what page.
Can the organizer see what I ticked?
Yes — that is the point; it tells them whether you're prepared. Other attendees cannot. We explain the exact boundaries on who sees what.
Do you sell my address?
No. Not to advertisers, not to sponsors, not to anyone. It exists to send you event mail for the event you registered for.
I unsubscribed but got another message.
Unsubscribing stops the checklist cadence for that organizer. Your ticketing platform's own receipts and the organizer's own mailing list are separate systems we don't control. If an ewent message arrives after you opted out, that's a bug — tell us and we will fix it.
Delete everything you have on me.
Ask and we will. Use the contact form and say "delete my data" — no justification needed.
