Cookies

Why there’s no banner in your way.

Most of this site sets nothing that requires consent, so we don’t interrupt you to ask for it. Here is the full list anyway.

On the public site

The marketing, legal and documentation pages you are reading set no cookies at all and load no third-party trackers. The only external request is to Google Fonts for the typeface.

In the product

CookiePurposeTypeLife
PHPSESSIDKeeps you signed in across pagesStrictly necessarySession
ewent_themeRemembers light/dark preferenceStrictly necessary1 year

Both are first-party and functional. Neither profiles you, follows you to other sites, or feeds an advertising network. Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent — which is why you are not being asked.

Analytics

Where analytics are used on the landing experience they are limited to aggregate page views. If we ever introduce analytics that can identify you or follow you across sites, we will add a real consent control before doing so — not after.

What we never set

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking identifiers.
  • Social media pixels.
  • Anything belonging to a data broker.

Clearing them

Your browser settings will remove both cookies above. Clearing PHPSESSID signs you out; clearing ewent_theme resets the appearance preference. Nothing else breaks. Attendee checklist links are signed URLs, so they keep working with cookies disabled entirely.
